Cleaning and stain assessment

Cleaning results depend on the material, finish, age and type of stain. Submit clear photographs so ShoeMedic can assess suitable cleaning or repair options. Some stains and damage may remain, and the final scope and quote are confirmed after physical inspection.

Heels, scuffs and leather damage

Worn heel tips, loose heels, scuffs and damaged leather need different approaches. We inspect the construction and condition before recommending work. A loose or damaged heel should be assessed before you continue wearing the shoes.

For scratches, tears or colour wear, we assess whether a local repair or leather restoration is suitable. Not every material or finish can be recoloured, and an exact match or invisible repair cannot be guaranteed.

For Canada-wide mail-in repair, submit photographs first and wait for ShoeMedic’s written shipping instructions before sending your shoes. We confirm the final quote and estimated timing after physical inspection; repair work begins after your approval and payment.
