Shoe Repair Pricing in Toronto & GTA: 2026 Guide
Shoe repair prices vary because two pairs that look similar can require very different work. Construction, material, surrounding wear and the parts required all affect the final quote. ShoeMedic serves customers from our Oakville shop and across Canada through our mail-in assessment process.
All prices below are in Canadian dollars, exclude HST and are starting points or typical ranges—not automatic quotes. For the complete and most current list, visit our Shoe Repair Cost Guide.

Why the Final Quote Can Be Different
A worn heel tip may be a straightforward replacement when addressed early. If wear has reached the heel body, the repair can involve more material and labour. The same applies to soles, zippers, stitching and leather damage: the visible problem may not show the full condition underneath.
- Construction: stitched, cemented and moulded footwear require different methods.
- Material: leather, suede, fabric, rubber and coated finishes need different products and handling.
- Condition: weakened surrounding material may need attention before the visible repair can be completed.
- Parts: suitable soles, zippers, leather and hardware depend on availability.
- Scope: minor functional work and full cosmetic restoration are not the same service.
How Long Do Repairs Take?
Most repairs take approximately 1–2 weeks. Timing is confirmed after physical inspection and depends on the repair, materials and current workshop volume. Extensive restoration may take longer. For mail-in work, shipping time and time awaiting approval or payment are additional.

Is the Repair Worth the Cost?
Price alone does not answer this question. Consider whether the item still fits, whether you enjoy using it, the condition of the surrounding material and what the proposed repair can realistically achieve. A comfortable, well-made pair with localized wear may be a strong repair candidate. An item with poor fit or deterioration across several areas may not be.
