Saphir Decapant Leather Preparer

Saphir Décapant prepares smooth leather for dyeing by stripping existing colour and surface coatings, including varnish. Made in France.

Use for a planned dyeing or refinishing project. It removes the existing finish and is not a routine leather cleaner or conditioner.

How to use

1. Test on a concealed area and follow the bottle's handling and ventilation instructions.
2. Rub the leather with a clean white cotton cloth moistened with Décapant.
3. Repeat with a fresh cloth, paying attention to folds and grooves for even preparation.
4. Allow one hour to dry before applying colour.
5. Once the preparer has evaporated, proceed with the intended dye, following its instructions.
