Saphir Color Stop is a practical way to stop unwanted color transfer after you restore or recolor leather and suede. Use it after renovator spray on suede, or after colored shoe cream on leather. It helps keep dye where it belongs—on your items, not on clothing or accessories.
It’s especially helpful when you’re breaking in linings, refreshing bags, or touching up a belt. Even a small rub can leave marks on socks or shirts. This spray is made to reduce that risk while preserving the look you worked for.
Why choose Saphir Color Stop for color protection
Why this spray Is Essential:
- Powerful Protection: A color stabilizer specially formulated to prevent the transfer of dye from leather, suede, nubuck, and textiles, making it an indispensable part of your care routine.
- Multi-Use Application: Ideal for a wide range of items, from footwear linings that can stain your socks, to jackets, bags, and belts that you want to keep looking vibrant without affecting your other garments.
- Peace of Mind: Say goodbye to the worry of ruining your favorite white shirt with a newly re-colored leather belt or experiencing stained feet due to footwear linings.
- Quality Assured: Like all Saphir products, Color Stop is manufactured with the highest standards to deliver effective and reliable results.
- User-Friendly: The aerosol spray application is easy and precise, allowing for a no-fuss, mess-free process.
- Ample Quantity: With 150ml of formula in each aerosol (code: 0823006), you get enough product for multiple applications, ensuring long-lasting protection.
How to Achieve Perfect Results:
Prep matters. Start with a surface that’s dry and clean. Any residue can affect results, especially when working on light finishes like yellow tones.
- Make sure the surface to be treated is completely dry, clean, and free from stains or grease.
- Apply one layer of the spray, spraying uniformly.
- Wait for an hour and then apply a second coat for added protection.
- After application, always test a small area to ensure there's no color transfer.
Important Remarks:
- For best results, apply two coats with a one-hour interval between them.
- Use only on surfaces that are entirely clean, greaseless, and dry.
If you’ve ever had fresh dye rub off on a cuff, collar, or lining, you know how frustrating it is. With a careful application, it helps keep the finish stable. It’s a simple step that protects your work and wardrobe.
Note: despite the name, this is not related to sapphire gemstones. It’s a dedicated spray for stabilizing dye on treated materials.
