Angelus Leather Dye
Angelus Leather Dye adds penetrating colour to smooth leather for restoration and custom leatherwork. Use it on suitable leather shoes, boots, belts, bags and leathercraft projects.
This alcohol-based dye colours the leather itself. The result depends on the original colour, surface finish and application; choose a matching or darker shade rather than expecting dye to lighten dark leather.
- 10 colours: Army Tan, Chocolate, Cordovan, Suntan, Russet, Brown, Gold, Spice, Brandy and Bismark Brown
- For smooth leather; use Angelus Suede Dye for suede and other napped leathers
- Manufacturer colour samples are shown as a guide; the final shade varies with the leather
How to use
Prepare the leather with a suitable leather preparer and allow it to dry. Test on a concealed area first. Apply the dye evenly with a suitable applicator, allow it to dry, then buff away excess surface pigment. Repeat if a deeper colour is needed and finish with a suitable leather-care product.
Do not mix leather dye with suede dye. Follow all directions and precautions on the bottle label.
